The types of fees we collect
All GeoMarket transactions incur fees. In all GeoMarket transactions, fees are applied to the final price of a location/place share or at the final price of an offer.
A 10% Green Fee is applied to every transaction processed. These fees are then gathered in the Location’s/Place’s Pot and distributed as income to all shareholders of that specific location/place.
For instance, if the cost of one share in Barcelona is 200 Guide Points, the purchase will involve spending 200 Guide Points for the share, along with an additional 20 Guide Points, representing the 10% transaction fee.
Within the bmy.guide platform, we apply various fees, which are distributed to GeoMarket shareholders based on their roles and positions within a specific location or place. The following are the six types of fees we collect:
GeoMarket Transaction Fees We apply a 10% fee on the value of every transaction conducted for purchases or offers. This fee is collected in the location or place's pool, and the accumulated amount is distributed among the shareholders.
Business Pages Fees A portion of the fees and subscriptions paid by business pages is distributed to the shareholders.
Download Images Fees Each image downloaded from bmy.guide incurs a cost of 13 Guide Points. From this, 3 Guide Points per downloaded image are collected and distributed among the shareholders.
Sending Gifts Fee A 10% fee (or a minimum 1 Guide Point) is applied every time you send a Gift to a user’s postcard. We collect those fees and share them among the shareholders.
Transfer Guide Points to users A 10% fee is applied every time you send a Gift to a friend. We collect those fees and share them among the shareholders.
Traffic Fees We gather just a tiny amount of Guide Points while you enjoy our platform. But don't stress—there's plenty of free time for you before anything happens. And all the little bits we collect, they go right back to our shareholders.
